So I started trading Gold and my chart stopped updating ticks. Checked EurUsd, GbpUsd, and ticks coming in. Searched on google and couldn't find any answers, which is strange, usually there is some sort of blog post or knowledge article. Emailed support and they asked for a screenshot to confirm. Didn't hear back for an hour and emailed them to escalate to someone senior and finally get an answer saying Gold is closed on holidays... Well that would have been good to know the first time I contacted support, before they asked me for a screenshot, which was obviously a complete waste of time...
Anyway, lesson learnt, Gold charts do not update on holidays however currencies do!
